This is a song I wrote for my wife about 15 years ago when we were dating....just recorded it last year and gave it to my wife for Valentines Day....hope you enjoy.
Eric Welsch - Acoustic, Vocals, Bass and Keyboards
Nate Jones - Acoustic /Electric Leads
Jon Collins - Drums
Chet Reisdorph - Vocals
VERSE 1
I feel the beat of your heart but your miles away
I can hear you laugh and cry
I see your eyes like emeralds brightly shining
And touch your face, oh why
VERSE 2
Can it be some magic or illlusion
Some trick of the lonely night
The gentle wind easily misunderstood
a passing form in the failing light
CHORUS
God knows how I feel about you
God knows that I truly care
He knows I can't live without you
That's why it doesn't seem fair
VERSE 3
That day I saw and angel in the ocean
Water beading on her face like stars
Her perfect beauty captured like a postcard
A moment placed in a crystal jar
CHORUS
God knows how I feel about you
God knows that I truly care
He knows I can't live without you
That's why it doesn't seem fair
VERSE 4
If you ask me I will wait forever
If you call me I'll be there for you
If you love me I will never leave you
A promise from me to you.
