I was passing through my hometown,
thought I'd stop and look around.
It's been 20 years since I'd been home.
I walked around the old town square;
courthouse clock still ticking there.
My heart sank to see the movie house was gone...but

catch up on all the local news.
Down at Joe's Bar on the edge of town.
Ran into a highschool friend.
Reconnected to my past again.
Talked about the different lives we found...
