I wrote this song on my way home from church and introduced it the next Sunday when the theme was 'Bread of Life'. Written as a children's song I hope it would appeal to all ages (especially when you're a bit down in the dumps).

Jesus I need food to eat
And shoes to wear upon my feet
A house to keep me warm and dry
And hugs for comfort when I cry

You're the bread of life
You're my best friend too
I will never be alone because I live with you
I have food and warmth and love
