Sometimes there's no other way to describe the situation other than as a hole.
You can't describe nothing htere's nothing there.

In the floor of my heart

The foundations secure

And pretend that the hole's not too deep
But its not only bent

I just don't want a hole there at all

There's a big gaping hole
And its shaped like a diamond

Don't get me wrong
Life goes on
But what's the point of the ring
When the diamond is gone.
