I'm kinda shooting for making a little humor out of what is a sad situation for alot of people right now.I know times are tough all over,but in our area,it's been real bad, being a town driven by the automotive industry.I know a lot of people doing everything they can to keep things going,but it just never really seems to be enough and they start questioning themselves with their abilities.My buddy Brian Correll is pretty much rock oriented,but I give him credit for the country touch he was able to put to my song. I hope you enjoy it!!     What Can I Do That's Right  I've takin two years off this carpet,pacin all around the floor, thinkin I've been doin what I need to do,but wonderin is there something more. I know I'm not makin too much money,but not too many people are. I'm doin what I can just tryin to be a man,and it's at home not at the bar.    Chorus    Well I have saved alot of money,by fixin my own truck.  And it's a good thing I can do it,cause I don't have the best of luck.  I got the sock out of the washer,and no more sparks flyin from the light  You say I'm doin nothin wrong,but what can I do that's right   Some people get the gift from Heaven,that they can use to pay the bills. And there's a choosen few that buy things new and take vacations full of thrills. I'm sorry that's not on our schedule, just gettin through each day is tough I'm doin all I can just tryin to be your man,and prayin hard that it's enough   Repeat chorus 2 times   Copyright 2009 Doug Reaume
