He Will Open Up Your Eyes
Saul was on the road to Damascus.....when he saw a shining light
He fell to the earth trembling.....as the Lord took away his sight
They led him into the city and the scales fell from his eyes
He arose a believer filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized
Chorus
Sometimes God has to blind our eyes just to get us to see
That he wants to save us if we will only believe
He may not take away your sight as he did Saul that day
But if you ask him to forgive you he will take your sin away
Paul and Silas were thrown in prison..... their feet were bound
At midnight they sang and prayed.....then an earthquake shook the ground
The prison guard came to ask what must I do to be saved
He accepted Jesus as savior and he was no longer enslaved
Chorus
Sometimes God has to shake our world just to get us to feel
The earth moving reality that he is sovereign and real
He may not shake your prison walls as he did the jailer that day
But if you ask him to forgive you he will take your sin away
Just an ole West Virginia boy.....living in my sin
I was raised in Sunday school.....but never born again
Then one day I saw myself as lost as I could be
I cried oh Lord forgive me and was saved when I believed
1st Chorus
I didn’t see a blinding light like Paul did that day
Didn’t feel the earth shake as when the jailer was saved
But God performed a miracle and he help me realize
Even when you are blinded by sins he will save you and open up your eyes
1st Chorus
All away......Oh..Ohoooo...Take’em all away
