What Happens At Grandmaws
We take the kids to Grandmaws on the weekend
And leave a list of dos and don’ts and when to tuck them in
Grandmaw smiles at the list then in the trash it goes
At Grandmaws house it’s fun city yeh it’s the grandmaw show
1st Chorus
The children have a giggle and laugh and a hop and a jump and a bumpy bump
A run down the hall... hide an go seek... with dirt on their face
What happens at grandmas stays at Grandmaws
It’s a circus for the kids
It’s staying up late cookies and cake
They don’t have to eat everything on their plates
And when they go home they can’t wait
To go see Grandmaw again
Late at night when the children should be in bed
Grandmaw and the kids have a pillow fight instead
Grandmaw laughs when the bed becomes a trampoline
She blows kisses to her cute little jumping beans
1st Chorus
Soon all the sleepy heads are going off to bed
Grandmaw leads the prayer and kisses each and every little grimy head
2nd Chorus
What happens at Grandmaws stays at Grandmaws
It’s a circus for the kids
It’s staying up late cookies and cake
They don’t have to eat everything on their plates
And when they go home they can’t wait
To go see Grandmaw again
