I was on vacation down in North Carolina about a week ago. My son and his wife were out of town so my wife and I went there to be with our grandaughter. She is now in the second grade and couldn't miss school to go with her parents. We were more than thrilled to get to spend time with her. She is growning up so fast and smart as a tack! I wrote a song about her titled Little Princess and another called Swing Me Daddy not long after I joined the Ramp. Man how time flies, as she turned seven while we were there! Anyway I wrote some lyrics while I was there and had some extra time on my hands. I needed some help to finish the song and someone to polish it up and make it shine! There's no one better for that job than James Eddie Cain....so I sent it to him and he recorded it that night! Thanks Eddie....We hope you like it...Written by James Cain and Ronnie Walls....Vocals by James Cain

Life’s a book of changes………. from the cradle to the grave
Some you’d like to relive… some you’d like to crumple up and throw away
Like the pages of an old love letter…… that ripped your heart into
Life isn’t fair……………. at times it’s gonna’ rain on me and you
Pages.... pages of our life
Some full of happy times……… some cut you like a knife
Tear out the hate and where love is bookmark every place
A crayon drawing on the Kitchen FRIG….. that my little girl made for me
Mommy and daddy holding hands……… It’s a page she still reads.
It’s a part of our baby’s life… her loving heart can’t accept
The page of us we threw away………………………is the page she can’t forget.
Pages.... pages of our life
Some full of happy times……… some cut you like a knife
Tear out the hate and where love is bookmark every page
When we turn the last page of the story we’ve lived
We can’t change a thing……………when it reads the end
Pages.... pages of our life
Some full of happy times……… some cut you like a knife
Tear out the hate and where love is bookmark every page
