Julie Springer (Springtone) and I kicked this idea around for song I had a while back......Well we just sort of quit working with it and I saw it on my computer today......Well this is what I ended up with and sang it on my little computer recording program......Might get a better demo down the road but this is what it is right now......Ron

The Grass Ain’t Always Greener
We had some beers to celebrate after our softball game
And just as I was leavin I ran into my old flame
We sat down at the bar one drink turned into three
She laugh at little things I said and gently brushed my knee
I wondered if she saw my ring I thought about my wife
Then the words my Daddy said cut my conscience like a knife
If you have someone who loves you it just don't make no sense
To go a lookin on the other the other side of the fence
Son the grass ain’t always greener on the other side of the hill
Sometimes smoke and mirrors make you think there’s a better deal
When you realize what you let slide it just might be to late
Cause what you need is still right....right inside your gate
As the bar began to empty and she went on about herself
Her green eyes couldn’t hold me and I thought that she could tell
When she leaned in for an awkward kiss I gently said goodbye
I wished her all the very best then rushed home to my wife
