I was supposed to be working (grading papers) late one night. Instead, Alex and I exchanged several emails that touched on some of the random aspects of life. I wrote the lyrics to this one later that night. Alex took it from there. He made one slight, but very effective, change to the words, and then put together what I think is a very powerful song. Note: this song is included on Alex Stangl's CD "Smoking Those Gitanes." Note: This song was #1 on the Overall Hot 100 May 30 - June 2, 2006. Thanks for listening!
