Last night I was dreaming I was singing in a band way back in 1982
Hot guitar, bass was thumpin it was bumpin, and the synthesizer gave it something new

Back then I had friends that tried to tell me that the heavy metal music was the king
but all male bands that play for all male concert fans didn't seem to me to be my thing

We played all the who and all the beatles songs we figured it was somewhere we could start
It gave our originals a place to go when we were working hard to learn the art
