This song is from the old catalogue written many years ago. The term was new to me then (1990), I heard a friend say he had a High Maintenance Woman, while we were at work. We all laughed and I soon wrote this song. He was probably not the first person to say it but the first person I heard say it. Since then the title has been recorded and sung by many writers in almost every writing room in Nashville. It is one of my earlier songs so it has amateur written all over it. It is a fun song though. Hope you enjoy. Oh, I should mention too that this song is not authentic Bluegrass like Cathead and the Boys would play. It does have a Bluegrass flavor so I went with that genre.
