Sheila Kaufman songs
Snow Globe
One you wind up with a key,
One that will snow whenever I want
While playing a carol to me.
I want all the Tinkly music
While the huge flakes come fluttering down,
And maybe a rink and some skaters
In a sweet Norman Rockwell-style town.
I'd like to have in the center
A glittery tree turning round.
I'd spend all the day making snowballs
And stacking them up in a mound.
Then after I built a big snowman,
I'd climb right up into a sleigh
And take a quick tour round my snow globe
While listening to the music box play.
Would you come live in my snow globe?
We'd have lot's of fun, Never fear.
We'd wish everyone Merry Christmas,
And the Happiest Happy New Year!
