The FAWM challenge was to write a lyric/song about a figure on one of  the 54 Mexican "Loteria" cards. I drew the flamingo, and a lullaby  sprang to mind.
(The "Simurgh" is a mythical bird, of significance in  certain spiritual traditions.)

Robyn leaped into the fray and  wanted to musicify the lyric. To my mind, she was the perfect choice.  I hope you enjoy this.  (-:

The  Fiery Flamingo

Has radiant  wings

Where the rare Simurgh sings
