Grumpy Dragon Day

A Grumpy little dragon
Came to work one day
And whispered to the Wizard,
" I don't want to stay."
The Wizard was a wise man.
He knew just what to do.
He whispered in the dragons ear,
"I'm feeling grumpy too."
"I know just what will make us smile,
We need a day to play,
So here and now," the Wizard said,
"I declare a holiday!"
"We'll fly over the Castle,
We'll fly over the moat.
We'll dip down in the ocean
And have a little float.
We'll find ourselves a princess,
And rescue her at once.
And those are just the things we'll do
Before we stop for lunch!"
The Wizard grabbed his pointy hat
And fastened on his cape.
He climbed up on the dragon's back
To make their great escape.
The dragon was a bit surprised.
He almost cracked a grin.
Instead he flew right out the door
that he'd been standing in.
They had such great adventures
on their stolen holiday
The dragon said they should declare
A Grumpy Dragon Day.
So every year they celebrate
A Grumpy Dragon Day.
