Just a little something I've been working on the last couple days. Not perfected by any means,  I'd love some comments about where to go with it :)

A Place to Call Home

Getting away from here

Walking down the street with my headphones in my ears

Don't know where I'm supposed to go

But I've put my faith in this winding road

Saying goodbye, to what they called my life

The same words I've heard a million times

These four walls, don't know me at all

I gotta leave and show I can be just fine

Don't know where to go

Just need a place to call home

Can't wait to break out and scream

I'm not going to be what you want me to be

Right now in, the same place I've always been

But I know there's more to being me

So it's time to break these chains

Make myself a brand new name

Go some place no one will know my face

Feel at home being alone

Something that I've never known

At least not while living in this place

Don't know where to go

Just need a place to call home
