Burning Daylight

Born and raised…. on the family farm
Always up…. at the crack of dawn
Twelve hours work…. in a eight hour day
Putting' food on the table…. with a honest man's pay
Daddy said Boy get your hands out your pockets.
You'll never get it done and he was right
You're wasting time …. BURNING DAYLIGHT
Can’t get a thing done…..daydreaming in the sun
Boy get you mind right….. Your wasting time
BURNING DAYLIGHT
I was sitting down on a bale of hay
Thinking about a girl and she’s a purty little thang
Daddy walked up ……. said I know what you’re thinking
Boy if she’s worth having…. she won’t mind a little waiting
At this rate you’ll never make Friday night
You'll never get it done and he was right
You're wasting time …. BURNING DAYLIGHT
Can’t get a thing done…..daydreaming in the sun
Boy get you mind right….. You’re wasting time
BURNING DAYLIGHT
All work and no play… well not tonight
Get out of my way … Don’t waste my time…
BURNING DAYLIGHT
BURNING DAYLIGHT
BURNING DAYLIGHT
BURNING DAYLIGHT
BURNING DAYLIGHT
BURNING DAYLIGHT
BURNING DAYLIGHT
