Sometimes it's called circular thinking, sometimes it's called argumentative debate, and sometimes it's called getting tied up in knots...

To Think Or Knot To Think

 If you wake up one morning and you see that I am gone

Then you’ll know I was serious that day when I said

We’ve got to find a way to find a way to find a way

To stop talking in this most peculiar way

 

I know you know what I’m saying when I tell you what I say

 But then you say I’m not saying what I mean

It seems to me it always seems you’re seeing things unseen

And no matter what I say you disagree

 

You said I said you said what I said was something else

 

That you didn’t really mean to say

 

Then you found that out I found that out that everything I found out

Was your imagination anyway

 

 I think you think that you think that what you think is the right thing

  And I think all your friends think what you think is so

But I know you know that I know that I know you know that I know

That no one ever knows and that’s just how it goes

 

If you wake up one morning and you see that I am gone

Those everyday mistakes we made that we made every day

Would one day make me wish I could just fade away
