When Brenda contacted me asking if I’d like to join her on this co write…we started to work on it immediately, and then we pulled our talented friend Janice in on the project; well, what a time we three had with this collaboration! Can we say, blood, sweat, tears and tons of laughter along the way? If you think the couple in this song had a difficult time “trying to say it out loud” you have no idea what we went through to get them to finally spit it out! :-) Getting this song to the finish line was teamwork in its truest form!
The song is about a couple who used to be close friends that became lovers…and both want to go back to being friends again…but just haven’t had the nerve to …say it out loud.
