When I first read about this tradition how some ranchers show their respect when one of their own passes away (by hanging their boots upside down on the barbed wire fence posts) to show their last due respect, some stirring visuals came to mind…but you know…hearing this storyline set to such great music and sung so brilliantly brings it to life even more colorfully and beautifully then I had imagined; it has gone from black and white to a kaleidoscope of glorious colors. Thank you Janice (and Brad) for going along with your eccentric writing buddy on this one…lol… I’m so glad you did. Terry, thanks so much for playing your steel on this production, amazing work. And Brad…your lyric revisions and perfect melody really make this shine, shine, shine!!!! The production is breathtaking. What team work!
