Hi Rampers it was great to meet all the cool people at the Bash. It looks like I missed quite a bit but although I was feeling not so great I was really glad to meet some of my Ramp favorites. I'm still learning how to be gluten free. It's taking some adjustment. Nashville had some restaurants with gluten free menus so I lucked out. This is an old song rewrite. There are a couple of things I'm not sure about in the lyrics. Shoot me a sitemail if you see something wrong in them. Thanks
She ran to me, with a face full of tears
The boy next door had called her tinsel-teeth
Like a good dad, I let her know I'm here
She heard these reassuring words from me
chorus
Pretty girl, pretty soon , you're gonna' grow pretty pleasing
All in good time' just wait and see
Pretty girl, pretty soon , you're gonna' grow pretty pleasing
You'll always be my pretty girl to me
Because he made fun of her beautiful grin
She said she'd never look as good as mom
Right there and then, to comfort her once again
I held her close to me as I went on
repeat chorus
bridge
Now little girl understand, it's not 'cause I'm your dad
I've got an old snapshot of someone you love alot
This picture tells the truth she looks a lot like you
The photo that you hold is your mom at eight years old
repeat chorus out
