They took her to Jesus for her adulterous actThey hoped they could get him caught in their trapSaying Moses in the law says stones should be hurled Down on  the head of this wayward girl

His answer would give them the power they soughtThey'd say that he blasphemed even if he had not        If he forgave sins,  just a man in this worldOnly God  could forgive such a wayward girlWayward girlWayward girl

So Jesus kneels down and he writes in the sandBut he don't say nothing, and no one understandsBut when he finally speaks, He cuts them to the boneLet he without sin, cast the first stoneCast a stoneCast a stone

She ran to Jesus and fell to the groundShe looked left and right, there was no one aroundNot one accuser remained in her worldThat's how Jesus showed compassion, to a wayward girl
