Well When I originally posted this I asked for a bit of feedback and Andrea and I agreed to tweak it a bit...so here is the latest tweaks...sorry for the re-post.

02-10-05 Well first off bud I LOVE YOUR VOICE :) Ya sound super. Let me think on this one then I will msg ya in a bit on just a few thoughts I had. I think so far this sounds pretty darn good. The chorus I think is well done, just maybe a few tweaks in the verses to make it sound just a bit smoother is what I got from first listen. I will listen a few more times. Nice job :)I always loving hearing your material!! Jen

02-12-05 Hey Ray. I love this one. I love the feel and emotion it brings out and I'm sure a lot of people will be able to relate. My only critique is in the bridge. Not lyrically, but musically. I really think you could do something "more" with it. I'm not sure where it's going when I'm listening to it. It could have a better flow back into the chorus. Other than that, I really enjoyed it and maybe would love it if my brother in law even asked me to sing it? As always Ray, great job. One of these days you will get your break. You certainly deserve it! Your favorite sister-in-law. Mel

02-15-05 I'm likin' it! Lyrically innocent "sounding" yet strong. Ya know? The lyrics are high on a mountain somewhere. Like a preacher preaching into the heavens. Is that good? If that's what you want it to be, then that's great. Bring it on.

02-16-05 dig the melody. Chorus sticks really well. Don't under rate your voc's very solid and a real smoothness to'm. From a lyrical perspective the 2nd verse to me said the same thing the 1st one did so I didn't cop a natural build in the story. (just me). beyond that this is a beautiful song Ray.

02-28-05 I really enjoyed it too Ray. "honest"! i will echo what donna said; it seemed the verses had no discernable rhyme pattern to me. I think there's only one rhme (lines 2 & 5?). On Donna's suggestion on nuking Rain from the bridge (i agree). You could go with: COME on and POUR down on me Until the dawn is gone and Flood this road so I cant go on Thunder so loud it turns me round Just some thoughts. I think this is good'un!

03-02-05 I agree with LEXZ...sometimes the rawness and the simplicity adds to the power and beauty of a song and in this case I think it definitely does! You might gain a little out of a studio recording but you already have something that's very powerful here! This is a beautiful peice of work and it's very nice on the ears! A joy to listen to! Chris M. Bradley
