Im always looking for song and music inspiration. This time the inspiration came from the August issue of Acoustic guitar magazine. In that issue there was a story about Rodney Crowell and a song he wrote called Bluebird Wine. In reading the article about the song I was inspired by one chord the E5 Chord and from that chord I made a progression that went something like the following Verses & ChorusE5 A A7 A A7E5 DE5 A7D A E5

From that I thought I would make this folk/country progression a pop progression and sound.I found some very hot love lyrics that my wife wrote earlier this year and came up with the first acoustic version of Shift Your Body Baby. You can hear it at this link. http://snd.sc/1culxtn

The final version of the song needed a female vocalist to go along with the lyrics and I had to change the Key to F# at the vocalist request and then I mixed the final version. A pretty good song if I say so myself and all from the inspiration of the E5 Chord
