Carolyn Ipsen songs
This is a new sound from me singing the blueest song, I've ever sung. The studio work is a wonderful process that I enjoy immensely. I am a big fan of the blues guitarist Kim Raffel who really did his utmost to make this song as good as possible. I think he did a great job.
We might be adding a male vocal to the chorus.
The song is from Fall 2011, and I have been looking forward to working on it for a long time. Any suggestions/comments are welcome. I hope you enjoy your listen.
The instruments used are:
Fender Telecaster with Humbucking microphones
Fender 70's Precision bass

Sugar and Cream
You warm me up
Then you cool me down
My head is spinnin'
On a merry-go-round
Sometimes you're hot
Sometimes you're cold
You better buy me baby
Before I'm sold
Chorus:
So don't pour too much
Hot'n cold on me baby
'Cause it might make me freeze
No don't pour too much
Hot'n cold on me baby
You better throw away the tease
Yeah don' t put too much ice
In that tea
'Cause you know I love my coffee hot
You know I love my coffee hot
With sugar and cream
Sugar and cream
SOLO GUITAR
Chorus:
So don't pour too much hot'n cold....
You turn me off
Then you turn me on
You say you're here
Then I see you're gone
Sometimes you're in
Sometimes you're out
Better not turn me off
On that round'about
Chorus:
So don't pour too much hot'n cold....
