One of the best things I like about SongRamp is how kind people are.  I never, in the past, let anyone hear my unpublished works because I am a writer not a performer and I strive to give my studio musicians the best interpretations that I can and they know what I was trying to play.  There are some songs that I have never published and this is one of them that I want to share with my friends here.When I first married my wife her mother did not like me because she thought that everything came too easy for me and that was a bad sign.  I went skiing at a resort and became their assistant marketing director.  I volunteered for a campaign and became a successful national political consultant.  She just did not think that I had enough dirt under my nails to be with her daughter.  I later won her over and we are best of friends.  As a matter of fact she worked for one of my companies as my personal secretary.  She knew EVERYTHING I did.Back then I wrote a song that I hoped would inspire my young wife to talk to her mom, and I gave her, through the below lyrics, some samples of what she might say – based on what my woman had said to me.
