I grew up a beach bum



with a surfboard in my hand



and all I ever dreamed of



was sunny day on the sand



I didn’t want to grow up



and have to face the world



Just give me a wave to ride



and a pretty blonde haired girl

catching that perfect wave



passing time and drinking rum



We called ourselves pirates



descendants of the sea



some say that lifes crazy



but it worked pretty well for me

there still telling stories

riding waves and having fun
