This is another piece from the tape dated 7/11/1988. When I used to record the piano at my Mom & Dad's house, I would always take the front panel off of the upright Steinway and put the microphones right up next to the hammers. You can hear a lot of the internal movement of the piano in these recordings. After all these years it's still a very familiar sound to me. I hope you enjoy this one too.
