Scotty came up with a great concept for this tune. He wanted it to be a traditional country song and I thought I could easily accomodate.Problem is it did not come out as traditional country. Scotty graciously let me go forward with it. Not sure of the genre but I put it in contemporary country. I've never made the claim to be much of a singer, I can carry a tune and that's about it.
