I'm hard of hearing...genetic. It effects my mixes and I struggle with high frequencies. I know that I miss a lot of sounds in life and as my second grandchild is on her way, I pray I'll be able to hear the little "nuances". Sounds Sounds in the midnight air Sounds come from everywhere Sounds all the stories they tell Of all the good sounds I love to hear When Jesus whispers in my ear If peace has a sound then I know it so well Sounds of a baby's cry Sounds as the days go by I will not hear some I fear But when He calls out, "Come here my son" And "Welcome home my child, well done" If I miss all other sounds this one I'll hear
