Once in a while on some ordinary day
Something happens that touches deep inside
I met her that way; She had so much to say
Raising money for those who cant pay

With all that she owned she started a home
Its humbling to meet someone so bold
She lived and she breathed what she truly believed
Picked them up, took them in from the cold

Theres something wrong in the city tonight
A fire rages out of control
Burning down the home on Clover Street

The engines came late and the hydrants were dry
Some say that they didnt even try
They didnt hesitate; the analysis showed
The building was unsafe, not up to code
