Wayne Smoot songs
Written by Wayne Smoot and Don Schieltz
In memory of Duffy Brown
Verse 1:
He Sang harmony with perfect pitch and grace
The lyrics of his life were written on his face
But, he had to stop singing before the ending of his song
Now, its up to us to Carry On
Verse 2
Family, friends and music are what he cherished most
I'd like to stand up now and make our friend a toast
While he's up in heaven, working on his song
I know he'd want us all to Carry On
Bridge:
Someday we'll hear his songs again
On that stage beyond the stars
As he plays them with love
On his guitar
Verse 3:
Until we meet our friend again in that peaceful
place
We'll hold on to the long see him face to face
I know he is there in heaven, working on his song
While we remain to Carry On
