He slips into Mexico dressed in a pancho and sombrero
Blending into the crowded bridge used to cross the river
He lands in an old cantina  just to see his favorite senorita
A standing invitation that happens every weekend across the border

As the sun begins to show

He sits round a wooden bar making friends never moving far
They ask his name he always says just  call me the Gringo
Starts to learn the language some between the shots of tequila and rum
A weekend vacation to his favorite destination down in old Mexico
