I met this old man sittin on the boat dock
He said he was tired and this might be his last stop
Didnt think that he could sail around the world again one more time

Amazed by what he  said I had some questions
He said it wasnt advise just merely suggestions
If your gonna live your life boy, you cant be afraid of what youll find

Like an empty canvas waiting for you to paint your life away
Your future is created by the dreams you chase each day
So I sail away   and I sail each day

The world is full of options and directions you can choose
If you never leave the shoreline its your dreams you gonna loose

Trust the stars that will shine and help to guide you

Or cause doubt in what you truly believe in
