Like a lighted candle burning to the bottom
When the light goes down slowly as it fades
When the love that we cherished is no longer
And there’s is nothing  but the ashes left to save

I move on like the smoke  that surrounds me
No direction to explain where I am

But I don’t think that I will ever understand
