This is our first go at this, I am still bending lyrics and arrangment....

Tough year.... So I was looking for a bit of a ballad feel.

But the song seems to work for my current mission also: I am in Dayton at the VA Med Center with a different friend that is dying of cancer trying to heal up enough to go to hospice. I have been talking to him about this song. To me he has been a great friend solid, always there for the past 44 years. I hope all of you have a few friends like this. I am blessed I am able to spend a week or two or whatever it takes to be here with him. Like Brendon Burchard always says at the end of life it comes down to three things, Did I live, did I love, did I matter. I can tell you Dave Bennett has mattered a great deal in my life.
