This is a song from when I first started writing, I was finishing my MBA (and was older than 90 percent of my professors) and my friend Jon Nicol gave me the idea of writing a story where the "return" is good because something or someone "isn't returned"--thus all the financial/love/fidelity references. It was during the AIG, Enron, era. I plan to rewrite and smooth out a few lumpy lines, if I recall this is Heather doing a great job phrasing my long lines, on a track I wrote for something else (Lazy Boy originally-which I later gave different music).
