This is one of my favorite songs that Brad and I co wrote...I have to admit that I was more of an inspiration for Brad on this one than a writer,as he pretty much took off with my idea..and took my scenario to a higher level, but thats what co-writing is all about... a few basic ideas turning into what I think turned out to be a very inspirational lyric...
Life is a puzzle don't you think...and we are always trying to fill in the "MISSING PIECES"....
Also one of Brad's best productions...

Verse..
Mom and I squared the edges of a puzzle
On a card table that was made of rusty metal
Then it started taking shape like the picture on the box
I said it almost looks the same even though a piece is lost
Chorus
Mom said, son sometimes there's missing pieces
you have to fill in the blanks when life deceives us
But the good Lord has a plan
For thoseWho trust his gentle hands
You never know where life is gonna lead us
Son, it takes faith to fill in the missing pieces
Verse
Years had past and my boy worked on a model
On the same table where I learned life was a puzzle
I could tell he was upset as he pawed inside the box
Said it just won't be the same, cause the piece we need is lost
Chorus
I said son,(repeat)
Bridge
You can look down on the floor, get on your hands and knees and crawl
But some things are best left to chance, you won't find each piece, so enjoy the mystery of it all
Half chorus
But the good Lord has a plan
For thoseWho trust his gentle hands
You never know where life is gonna lead us
Son, it takes faith to fill in the missing pieces
