My heart lies with country music lyrics, but I guess this one just came out of nowhere, with the help from Bill Osofsky my lyric turned out just as I had run the scenario through my head...and then Ray Fontenault placed a beautiful melody to the lyric and then Ray's daughter Olivia sang the song perfect!!!...What a great place songramp has been to me...and I have made not only wonderful collaborations, but so many dear friends along the way....

(verse)
See that girl over there, a flower in her hair
With that young, charming guy
Well she looks so familiar
I just can't look away, 'cause it’s driving me crazy
Tryin' to figure out why
Gee, this feelin' could kill ya…
?
(chorus)
I know that smile...I know that laugh
I know we must have crossed each other's path
I don't know when it was
I don't know where we were
But I think I remember her
?
(verse)
She looks so much in love, like she can't get enough
Of whatever he's saying
Now a view of surprise
As he opens the box, he took out of his pocket
And slips on a ring
Tears of joy fill her eyes
?
(chorus)
I know that smile...I know that laugh
I know we must have crossed each other's path
I don't know when it was
I don't know where we were
But I think I remember her
?
(bridge)
So happy, so hopeful, so filled with joy
So silly, romantic and free
And I suddenly realize
She’s the woman I used to be, so…
?
(chorus)
I know that smile...I know that laugh
I know somehow we crossed each other's path
I don't know when it was
I don't know where we were
But I think I remember her
I know that smile...I know that laugh
