Carmella Inchierchiera songs
I started to write and compose this song in the spring of 2005. I completed it by myself 2009.
I fought to get this song back and my freedom.....
It is bitter sweet.. Hope you like it..
Fallen Heroes
Verse 1
I fought to get this song back and my freedom.....
It is bitter sweet.. Hope you like it..
Fallen Heroes
Verse 1
On a clear and sunny day in the year 2001
Two buildings came tumbling down blocking out the sun
Maybe it was ignorance maybe to much pride
Thinking we were safe then so many people died
Verse 2
Many lives were lost that day our country felt great pain
With that act of terror that must never strike again
So We fought back with a vengeance to let the terrorists know
You can't attack our homeland and think will let it go
Chorus
Our country will fight for it's freedom
For our right to be
There is no easy way to keep
This great nation free
Soldiers they yelled out let's rock
Flight 93 they bravely rolled
Heroes saved many lives
Our Fallen Hero's paid the ultimate sacifice.
Verse 3
Many years have come and gone ever since that fateful day
Our soldiers are still fighting to keep our American way
Let's not forget the towers that once stood regal in the sky
Along with our many Fallen Heroes on that day that died
Bridge
Let them never be forgotten
Let them never be forgotten
Let's always honor them with pride
For them we raise our flags up high
Chorus
Our country still fights for it's freedom
For our right to be
There is no easy way to keep
This great nation free
Soldiers still shout out let's rock
And many they still bravely roll
Heroes save many life's
Our Fallen Heroes pay the ultimate sacifice
Soldiers still shout out let's rock
And many they still bravely roll
Heroes save many life's
Our Fallen Heroes pay the ultimate sacifice
Our country will fights for it's freedom
For our right to be
There is no easy way to keep
This great nation free
Our country will fight for it's freedom
For our right to be
There is no easy way to keep
This great nation free
Our country will fight for it's freedom
For our right to be
There is no easy way to keep
This great nation free
