July 2nd is our 28th Anniversary!


Some of you have heard this, but with so many new folks I'd thought I'd repost.  Nita and I were married July 2, 1983. The picture below is from 2005. She is the love of my life.  I have a lot of memories in these 12 lines...



Ever have a memory and just write it down? I was recalling meeting my wife in October 1982.  I wrote almost all of this on my way to church one Sunday morning for my wife on our 25th Anniversary.  Has some really cool steel dobro (Frank Michels-Nashville).  It won song of the year 2008 at one of the Columbus, Ohio songwriting groups. You can meet our children in songs titled "Perfect World and Real Soldierman, on my home page..."
