More jolts along this winding dusty trail
twists and turns fighting tooth and nail
really made no difference what choices came to mind
born of desperation mostly chosen blind
left behind more Broken Hearts

Ive heard them say that time won't always, heal the pain
still I recall there's a freshness, to it all, after the rain

Full circle now, here we are again
its crazy how I wish it would never end
Even in the darkest times I knew there was a goal
I guess that hopeless optimist ran free inside my soul
