How proud Jesus must be
So many want to keep his company

Ones who give their dollars in the offering plate
Then deny to others justice mercy and grace
Ones who look so full of love for the weak and poor
Are full of greed and only hunger for more

The more he looks at everything he sees
How proud Jesus must be

With all of those who want to keep his company

Ones who say he is the way the truth and light
Then lie to keep their sins out of sight
Ones who look so righteous in Gods holy glow
Are the same who hold wickedness down deep in their soul

By ones who say love thy neighbor then make love to their neighbors wife
By ones who say thou shall not kill then go to war and take a life
By ones who say do unto others as youd have done to you
And then find someone to abuse
