Sunday Morning Again
Written by Ronnie Walls and James Cain © 2009
It’s Sunday morning.. not a soul around
Last night I Hit the bars in this ole town.
Having me a good time ….everywhere
Got my face slapped but I don’t care
I’ve lost my woman I’m drinking again.
Old Bud and Miller are my best friends
Started out Saturday thought I’d of be home by Ten
Saturday nights turned in …..to Sunday morning again
Don’t know how it happen don’t know where time went
My head s a thumping my moneys all spent
I’m so glad that Sundays a day of Rest
I just gave… Saturday Night ..my best
Sitting in my ole pickup truck
Sipping black coffee from a Styrofoam cup
I see the steeple high above the trees
My mama’s in there praying for me
Children are walking to Sunday School,
I’m sitting here between stupid and fool
Where did I go wrong ,what’s wrong with me,
I’m stuck living in this crazy dream
Saturday nights turn in…to Sunday morning again
Don’t know how it happen don’t know where time went
My head s a thumping my moneys all spent
I’m so glad that Sundays a day of Rest
I just gave Saturday Night my best
All week long I struggle to find
The reason why I keep losing my mind
Maybe I’ll stop and do what’s right
oh what to hell its Saturday night.
Saturday nights turn in….to Sunday morning again
Don’t know how it happen don’t know where time went
My head s a thumping my moneys all spent
I’m so glad that Sundays a day of Rest
I just gave Saturday Night my best
Well I just gave Saturday Night my best.
