Sweet watermelon or lemonade, bright green trees, 
you got is made in the shade 
Clear blue skies and cherries pies summertime is here

Floatin down the river in an inner tube, soakin up the rays, getting nearly nude
riding a bike, just takin a hike,
summertime is here

The sun is shining brightly up in the sky 
trees are swayin lightly, with a sigh 
everything is right with the world and every summer boy will find a summer girl

Pic-a-nic lunches underneath a tree hot fried chicked and clod iced tea bar-b-que pits and “Beach Boys” hits 
summertime is here …

Clothesline flags flappin in the wind front porch sittin, sippin tonic and gin 
bright sun kites and firefly nights 
summertime is here
