The melody drove the creation of this song.  It began with the melody for the hook and then came the "junk" hook.   "I'm waiting for a true love affair". Each time John sent me a new melody to work with, it was like receiving a frame for the beginning of a new song.  I argued with him about the meaning of "true love affair" because true and affair didn't seem to agree....but now I've been blessed with falling in love...and understanding life can bring you a love affair to remember that lasts a lifetime....I'm so sorry John.......I finally get it!
