John composed this melody and had what he referred to as a "junk" lyric.  He contacted me for a collaboration, to brighten up the phrases, to make them fit.He often chided me about the number of beats and making certain I paid attention to timbre.  I learned about songcrafting as we went along. I took this song to Nashville for Songposium 2007 where it received a kind review from a country music representative.  He encouraged me to have it pitched to contemporary music companies.  We were pleased.
