I was playing around one night with a series of chords involving two fretted notes and two open strings, and came up with this piece, which I decided to call "Into The Depths", because the chords (at least to me), seemed to invoke that feeling of being deep down underwater in the ocean. I decided to even try to emulate the sound of whale songs, using really low notes on the guitar, with subtle string bends, a lot of reverb, and delay.
