With the morning now upon me, I think of a lady
And my thoughts are tumbling free, with a world yet to know
There's a light wind blowing her hair, we spoke of it softly
Through the sunlight someone else cared, to behold a new day
When alone I dare to roam and wonder of my princess
She's been known to be my home and keeper of my wishes
And they say I'm dancing away, to a tune no one's hearing
So their days just wither in grey, when the sky is just clearing
Princess take my light and stay as long as you can feel it
Don't mistake the price thats paid for pain we never needed
(instrumental)
Princess take my light and stay as long as you can feel it
Don't mistake the price thats paid for pain we never needed
Does it hurt them to see me this way, "he's a fool he'll learn better"
Its a shame they've hidden away, from the reason we're here
Can't you come and see my princess, see what we have found
Everyone enjoys the sun, sleeping underground
