Diane Gee-Frasca songs
My husband took a long hunting trip in September. I wrote this while he was gone. To my piano's dismay, he does not actually ever ask me to play, but it's my song... so I wrote what I want. LOL Thank you for listening!
I am most honoured that spiffing Gilly Slinn helped me out with this. She graciously added beautiful cellos & violins, and mixed it. I'm in heaven when I hear her music, so I am humbled that there is a piece of her in mine.
Thank you dear Gilly!
WORSE THINGS
(c) 2009 Diane Gee
Piano/Vocal: Diane Gee
Cello/Violin: Gilly Slinn
Verse 1
You packed up, then you left
Looks like piano and me are becoming best friends
That's okay, she's been missing me
I can think of worse things
Verse 2
You call, you'll be back
Piano overhears and her voice starts to crack
But I'm glad you've been missing me
I can think of worse things
Verse 3
You've been home about three days
Piano smiles when you ask me to play
I will play; you love listening
I can think of worse things
